Shots fired outside townhouse complex near York U campus

Toronto police are investigating after several shots were fired near the York University campus.

Police were called to Ian MacDonald Boulevard and The Chimneystack Road, near Keele Street and Steeles Avenue West, just after 1:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Officers found at least four bullet holes in the garage door of a townhouse on Chimneystack.

The townhouse complex does not belong to the university and is not a student residence.

No injuries were reported.
